Nationals MP Gaelle Broad has urged Northern Victorian residents to have a say on the cost of living crisis through a new survey.
“The Cost of Living Survey takes just a few minutes and will help provide a better understanding of how the cost-of-living crisis is biting regional Victorian household and business budgets.
“Victorians have been particularly hard hit by the cost of living crisis,” she said.
“The Labor Government has introduced nearly 50 new and increased taxes, and many are struggling to make ends meet.
“Steep increases in basic items such as groceries, gas and electricity are putting households and businesses under pressure.
“The average family grocery bill in Victoria is now $1565 more than last year.
“Regional Victorians continue to pay more in taxes and charges, but are left with poor government services, a crumbling road network and growing medical waiting lists.
Ms Broad encouraged individuals, families and businesses to complete the survey at https://vicn.at/costofliving
