Dear Editor,
As we pause to reflect on ANZAC Day, I’d like to encourage people to visit the Faces of Peace exhibition at the Bendigo Military Museum in Pall Mall.
The exhibition captures the stories of local people, and looks at the history, bravery and sacrifice of regional Victoria’s peacekeepers throughout the years.
In a world too often defined by conflict, this powerful display offers a poignant reminder of the human desire for peace.
I visited recently and found it extremely powerful, moving and informative.
Let us come together to honour the stories of hope and resilience that unite us all.
The exhibition is supported by the Bendigo District RSL, City of Greater Bendigo, Hebron Films and Slade Design.
The museum is open on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday between 11am and 3pm in Pall Mall Bendigo. The exhibition runs until July 31.
