The Member for Northern Victoria Region Gaelle Broad has urged small communities across northern
Victoria to apply for funds under the Tiny Towns program.
“Communities can apply for grants to help deliver local projects that benefit locals and help attract
visitors,” Ms Broad said.
“The grants range from $5000 to $50,000.
“They are aimed at infrastructure projects such as playgrounds, community hall and library upgrades,
hiking trails and splash parks.
“Community and non-profit groups and councils in towns with a population of up to 5000 people can

“Tiny towns provide a crucial hub for many people living in the country, as well as an attractive
destination for tourists.
“It would be great to see as many communities as possible benefit from this funding,” Ms Broad said.
