The Nationals Member for Northern Victoria Gaelle Broad has urged agricultural and pastoral
societies to apply for grants of up to $10,000.
“I’m always impressed by the wonderful field days and agricultural shows that we have in Northern
Victoria,” Ms Broad said.
“There is an immense amount of behind-the-scenes work that goes into these events, and they are a
showcase for the great work that goes on in our communities.
“They also provide valuable social connections for people and economic benefits to the wider region.”
Ms Broad said eligible projects for the funding could include improving showground amenities such
as fencing and shade covers, or further enhancing on-farm biosecurity planning.
